Course overview:
This course has been developed to introduce the Equality Act 2010 and details each of the protected characteristics so the learner can learn more about what they are and how to avoid discrimination through words and actions. The course will give the learner knowledge in understanding which behavior/s are prohibited by the Equality Act and aims to help the learner promote a fairer, more tolerant and more diverse working environment.

• Define the term Discrimination
• Discuss the types of discrimination
• Cite the importance of change
• Discuss the implications of personal assumptions and attitudes
